Below shows the Master Bedroom and Bath redesign in the Home Designer software I bought so I could visualize the changes.

Below if the bathroom tile.  The top is the backsplash, the stone in the middle is the granite for the countertops and the cream tiles are the floor tiles.  There will be a border in the bath tile where the vanities are with the tile at the bottom.

Below is the tile for the shower.  The stone looking tile at the right will be the floor, cool.  The black/white/cream strip will go around the shower at about eye level.

Here is one of the Stone Forest black granite sinks.

8/10/2012  Here is the Master Bath as it stands today.  Shown below is the pocket door to the water closet.  The shower is beyond that.

Here is the view from the bedroom.  The wall above the top of the door to the bath was taken down.  The entrance to the closet used to be from the bathroom.  That entrance was closed up and the pocket doors was added in the wall in the bedroom.  Obviously, we're living in one of the upstairs bedrooms.

Monday 8/20/2012 - I didn't include any pictures, but all the wiring is completed.  I've got bulbs hanging from the ceiling fixtures to give me light so I can now work at night.  The exhaust fan is in and working, the bathroom didn't have one before.

Tuesday, 8/21/2012 - Lynn and I went to Beaufort and Savannah last Saturday.  In this little shop in Beaufort we found this teak cabinet that came from a Dutch business in Java.  The shop specialized in bringing teak things back from there, Oyster Cay Collection.  I bought and picked it up yesterday.  In the first web page showing the bath plans there is a cabinet shown.  Well this is it.

8/24/2012 Well the plumbing is all done.  I started yesterday morning and had to get it done last night if I wanted water this morning.  After some distractions (like getting health insurance finally) and one run to Lowes, I finally finished it this morning at 4am.  I only had one leak when I turned on the water and that was the toilet fill valve was open.  Fortunately I just turned the water on a little then ran into the house to look for leaks.  I walked into the bathroom to see a gusher.  I quickly shut that off and everything else was tight.  The picture below shows the shower plumbing.  There is a temperature control valve, yes you set it to the water temperature you want and it keeps it there, and a volume control valve for the hand held shower and the rain shower above.

Below shows the two faucets for the two vanities.  The drain vent pipe had to be moved to the side because the next project is to cut a hole in the wall and put in the window.  Much of the plumbing changes were downstairs.  The 3" toilet drain had to move, the 2" shower drain had to move, the cold water toilet supply had to move and the hot and cold to the shower had to move.  The only things that didn't have to move was the vanity plumbing.

Here is sort of what the window will look like.  It's hard to envision because the stained glass window is really clear glass so you'll be able to see the trees outside through it.  It is suppose to be a great weekend, so maybe I'll start it tomorrow.
